Congratulations are due to two of our Members.  Reeni Murphy, senior loan officer with Mortgage Financial, Inc.has earned her Certified Mortgage Professional designation fromReeni Murphy VMBA.  Reeni has 20 years experience in the banking and finance industry and has been an active participant in the VMBA and mortgage industry in Vermont.

The Legislative Committee has an active season planned, but to be most effective, we need to hear from YOU! 
 
If you have issues arise, that are a result of Legislation, Rules or Regulations that negatively impact your customers, we need to hear about it. 

It's the specific customer situations that best communicate the impact of regulations.  Have you received complaints relating to Property Tax Escrow Prebate issues?  Have you had closing challenges due to the change in how Prebates are credited to the taxes due? 
Have you had any customer or title opinion issues related to the Wastewater rules or Ancient Roads?

We want to hear from you! 

We all know that no news is good news.  So if we don't hear, we'll assume it's working fine for you and your borrowers.

But - if you have encountered issues - please follow the link below, and let us know by completing a short form.  We will not ask for customer names on this form.  We just need your name, and the situation so we can build our resources if we find we need to address any issues.

Year-End Info
It's that time of year - year-end that is.  2008 Dues Invoices will be mailed in December so you may feel free to expense in either 2007 or 2008.   Dues remain the same at $400 for Lender Members and $250 for Affiliates.
