WHO WE ARE
The Vermont Mortgage Bankers Association (VMBA) is a Vermont mortgage industry professional membership organization.  We are an
adjunct member organization of the national Mortgage Bankers Association.

What We Offer
VMBA sponsors educational and social events and networking opportunities.  Our members are the legislative voice for the mortgage lending
industry.  We watch legislation proposals and monitor the impact of changes in Vermont laws to our industry.  

Information
Our industry is constantly changing.   We help filter out what’s important and bring critical news to the forefront.  The VMBA newsletter is
emailed to you, highlighting issues and concerns. We’ll let you know what’s going on when you need to know.  

Seminars
Education is critical.  We provide training on the latest advances and changes in programs, products and rules.

Marketing
Members of the VMBA are listed on our Website, and may participate in the weekly Rate Survey provided to area newspapers.   You'll be
recognized as a member of the Association with a link to your website. This enhances the opportunity to form contacts with others in the
lending industry or to expand on contacts made during programs and seminars.

MEMBERSHIP
TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP:
Regular Membership is offered to those who are engaged in the business of originating, purchasing, placing, closing, selling and/or
servicing real estate mortgages.

Affiliate Membership is offered only to a business organization that regularly provides support services or products for business
organizations or financial institutions that are eligible for Regular membership.  Typical Affiliate members include appraisers, law firms, title
insurance companies and mortgage insurance providers.
