Oktoberfest is the largest festival in the world - a 15 day celebration in Munich The colors of Oktoberfest are white and blue, the colors of the flag of Bavaria, Germany During Oktoberfest, a much larger pretzel is baked- the Wiesnbrezn. 2010 is the 200th anniversary of the first Oktoberfest a wedding party for Prince Luitpold I and Princess Theressa of Bavaria. "Bratwurst" is a
sausage made from pork in a natural casing - a favorite in Germany,
with each region having its own specialty. Each German
consumes 150 pounds of potatoes annually. Butterbrot is German for a slice of
