1:00 - 3:00 2 hr Ethics - Navigating a Moral Compass This Ethics course addresses key aspects of ECOA, Regulation B, RESPA and TILA-Regulation Z and their intended measures of Consumer Protection. Attendees will explore an Ethical Decision-Making Process and participate in an exercise in which they will chart their own Ethical Map. Actual fraud & misrepresentation schemes will be discussed as will an investigative process designed to discover the scams. Additional resources such as Fannie Mae's tools of detection will be referenced
3:00 - 5:00 2 hr Nontraditional Products: Risk Realities
This segment covers the Industries definitions of Nontraditional Mortgage Products. Participants will be able to relate Loan Types to associated Risk and to Lending Regulations of various loan types. They will review loan limits, payment calculations, alternate financing options, types and use of indexes, required disclosures, calculation and potential impact of sales concessions.

1 hr Elective - Credit Reports and Credit Scoring
Credit Reports and Credit Scoring will prepare Mortgage Loan Originators to analyze a borrowers credit report so they may have a clear understanding of the borrowers credit worthiness. They will participate in a review of the various credit types, credit compliance guidelines,credit scoring basics and disclosure requirements, as well as legal requirements of FICO scores.

3 hr Federal Laws and Regulations
- A Compliance Abstract
This course highlights the Laws and Federal Regulations that govern the mortgage lending process from application to closing. The laws are dissected into several components to allow participants to understand which MLO activities are subject to compliance laws and regulations. laws, disclosures, other compliance requirements will be addressed.
